Yet these pieces, ever functional, can often feel basic and rather cold, like the metal furnishings that dot the office landscape.<\/p>\n<p><a manufacturer <strong><a href=https://design-milk.com/"https:////design-milk.com//tag//kfi-studios///" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KFi STUDiOS<\/a><\/strong> tapped <a href=https://design-milk.com/"https:////design-milk.com//tag//union-design///" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Union Design<\/strong><\/a> to create a new line of tables, the team envisioned furnishings that acknowledge the constant motion and noise of the workplace, but don\u2019t add to it\u2014which the name <a href=https://design-milk.com/"https:////kfistudios.com//kfi-studios-introduces-hum-table-collection-a-soft-spoken-foundation-for-the-daily-rhythm-of-work///" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Hum<\/strong><\/a> perfectly captures. \u201cWe wanted to have a cohesive look across the product, while changing the sizes and shapes for different spaces,\u201d says Jeff Theesfeld, founder of Union Design. \u201cThen we started looking at which forms would convey a sense of calm.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a with hard edges, Hum\u2019s versions include softly shaped round, square, triangle, rectangle, and line-of-sight tops. These selections encourage comfortable interaction among those gathered around the worktable. There are seven wood tops, from a classic natural shade to navy and evergreen. Solid surfaces come in lighter tints like Designer White and creamy Bisque.
